We are busy working at putting safety procedures in place, recalling employees, and reviewing what areas and services we will be able to operate safely.  We plan to open with reduced hours and services on Thursday, July 2nd.

Tuesday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Wednesday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Thursday 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Saturday July 4th and 18th 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Please note:  A limited number of patrons will be allowed inside the library for a limited period of time, and hand-washing / sanitizing, social distancing, etc. will be required.

2. Can I return my books even though you are closed?

You can return library items in our 24-hour exterior book drop. All items will be quarantined for 72 hours before they are removed from your account as per Alberta Health Services guidelines. Once the library reopens on July 2nd the exterior book drop will only be available during hours the library is closed.

3. Will I incur overdue fines?

Due dates for all material that was checked out before we closed has been extended until July 31, 2020. If any overdue fines are incurred during our closure they will be waived when we resume regular library operations. You will not be charged for overdue items during quarantine days.

4. What will happen to my holds that are available for pick up?

All holds that are ready for pickup will remain on our shelves until the library reopens on July 2nd, regardless of expiry date. If once the library reopens you are uncomfortable entering the building to get your items, you can still arrange for curbside pick-up by calling 403-443-2360 during our open hours.

5. How do I place a hold?

Visit www.tracpac.ab.ca to search the catalog. Deliveries between libraries is slowly resuming and not every library in Alberta is participating. We recommend limiting your requests to Marigold libraries. To limit your search to participating libraries check-out this short tutorial.

6. Can I still use your online resources if you are closed?

Yes, our online resources are available 24/7! You can learn more about the various e-resources you can access with your library card here.
