Land Acknowledgement
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that The Three Hills Municipal Library is situated on land that for centuries has been marked by the footprints of those living here before us. They cared for these lands, gathering often to share stories and pass on their culture. We thank the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Stoney Nakoda, and Tsuut’ina peoples of Treaty 7, as well as the Métis Nation within Region III, for their care of this land. Their gentle spirit embedded in this landscape has set an example that inspires us to follow.
